Staff Profiles

Pastor Loren grew up in the Central Valley of California.  He put some pucks in the goal, cheered for the Bulldogs (Go Dogs win the WAC), and gave his heart to the Lord. Following high school the Lord sent Loren to Chapman University in the OC. During his time in Orange he grew in his walk with the Lord, learned lots of stuff (Shout out to my Profs: you guys rock), and met the most amazing woman in the whole world. Carrie is a wonderful Lover of the Lord Jesus, and made Loren the happiest guy on the planet when she accepted his proposal for marriage. After getting hitched, and graduating from seminary (Loren has much love for the PTS years), Loren was blessed with an opportunity to serve as the college pastor at New Covenant Community Church. It was during those 5 years as college pastor when the Lord blessed Carrie and Loren with two adorable children.

Blake Carpenter grew up in Bellefontaine Ohio and went to school at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago Illinois.  It is here thathe met his beautiful wife Amanda.  Blake and Amanda moved to Amanda’s home town of Clovis, California and were married in Yosemite National Park.  They now have three children: Ethan (5), Micah (3), and Rose (1 1/2).  Blake and Amanda have always felt God calling them to ministry.  Blake has always had a desire to lead worship and teach others, and Amanda is a strong leader with a huge heart for women’s ministry.  Blake’s primary occupation is working as a Computer Systems Engineer, and Amanda is a stay-at-home mom where she has the privilege of raising their children.
