What is an Evangelical?

While many churches nation-wide are shrinking in membership and influence, one type of church seems to grow and grow: evangelical churches.  In this message we look at one of the distinctive beliefs of evangelicals, and how it moves us into a personal relationship with Jesus.

The Gospel Applied

After explaining and defending the gospel, the Apostle Paul shows us specific areas where we can apply the gospel.  Specifically, in this text (Galatians 5:26-6:5), we see how the gospel challenges us to: think rightly about ourself, respond appropriately when we are hurt by others, and bear one another’s burdens.

Real Freedom

This text exposes the main obstacle to living in real freedom, then shows us a picture of what real freedom looks like, and how we can live in that freedom.  We find that living in real freedom is not doing what ever you want to do, but living the way you were designed to live.
