We started a new series this week where we deal with hard sayings of Jesus; sayings that are hard to understand, to accept, or both. We kicked it off with Jesus teaching about the temple. In Galatians 4:21-5:1, Paul draws us in to an allegory and forces us to decide which child of Abraham we are, Ishmael or Isaac. Ishmael represents religion apart from God’s promise, and Isaac stands for all those who trust the promises of God, and so stand in freedom. Where do you stand?

This Easter message focuses on (what else?) the resurrection of Jesus. In this message, we ask the questions, why does the resurrection matter, and what does it have to do with me? The message concludes with 5 baptisms (and accompanying testimonies) we performed as part of the service.
