All child care volunteers will need to pass our background check prior to beginning service.

Worship Team

We are currently building our worship team. This team uses their musical gifts to lead our fellowship in worship on Sunday nights. Our goal is to have a edgy/progressive band formed, and we are still in need of several key components. Something Sweet

We’re inviting the South Davis (Farmington-North Salt Lake) community to get to know us over some yummy dessert. On September 16th we will be hosting the meet and greet at the South Davis Recreation Center (550 N 200 W, Bountiful) @ 7:30pm (don’t worry, you wont need a membership to get the dessert…but you will need one to work off the calories in the gym afterwards). We’d love for you to come and get to know us, hear what we are all about, and ask any questions you might have for us.

Child Care will be provided at no charge, so feel free to bring the little ones.

Women’s Group

As a group, we’re learning that growing in Christ is less about what we know, or how religious we are, and more about who we are in Jesus. Join us on Thursday nights (7pm) as we grow in our walk through a study of the book of Esther (Beth Moore Study). Come as you are, be loved…wear loose pants (there’s always food)!

Sunday Evening’s

On Sunday nights we gather in a home to draw near to the Lord through worship and prayer, and to be challenged by God as we study His Word. We are currently studying the Gospel of John together. This is a place for honest questions, a place faith can be kindled and deepened, and where Christ will be exalted. We hope YOU will join us!

Two Biggies (praise)

Thanks you all, for praying for the Lord to move. God answered our prayers in fantastic ways (he always answers our prayers, but they were answered very clearly this week).

We had a great time at the booth we had at the fair. We played “Ants in the Pants,” and gave out about 500 bottles of water. We also gave out about 300 hundred Chapsticks, Pens, and booklets with our contact info. Please continue to pray for the results of our booth at the fair to be multiplied beyond our efforts. We did have several families take great interest in our church, and indicate they would like to come to the Bridge soon. We also had great witnessing opportunities, and got to share the gospel with several individuals; some conversations even lasted well after the fair closed, it was great.

The other praise is that I was offered the position teaching at a local college here. I will be teaching ethics, and critical thinking. I am not sure what the Lord will do with that position, but please pray that He would use my time there in powerful ways.

Thanks again for your intercession on behalf of us, and this church!

Two biggies

So we have two big prayer needs right this very min. Actually we have many many needs, but I will share two right now:

1. The Fair. The fair is here and we have a booth and have actually had a good response thus far, and have even had some witnessing opportunities. Please pray that the Lord will use the fair to connect us with some people who will join the church, and that we can be the salt and light we are called to be at the fair.

2. Loren has an interview to work part time as a Philosophy instructor at a local college. That interview is on Monday. The job would be a great additional source of income, and would help build up some credibility here. Pray the interview goes well (it includes a teaching demonstration).

Meeting location

We may have found a temporary meeting place that would suit the church better than our home. Please pray for that opportunity.

Also, please pray for our launch location. I have been praying that the Lord would open up a particular place to us, please pray that God would move the mountains!

Hey there Prayer Warriors, Tonight (sat) and tomorrow (sun) I have the opportunity to preach in one of the largest converge churches in the Rocky mountain region. Pray that the Lord uses that time to encourage His people, and to build excitement around church planting in Utah.

Lets Pray Together

Its June already. How did that happen?

Here are a few things that I would sure appreciate some prayer for:

1. Completion of home- We are building a home, and looking forward to its competion so that we can get settled in. It will also have a better set up for church gatherings, which will be helpful until we get into a building of some kind.

2. Travel- I will be spending lots of time in travel this month (Three trips to Colorado). I get to preach in several churches that are supporting church planting in Utah. I am blessed to be an ambasasor to Church Planting in Utah, but it does add some stress to family and church life here in Utah.

3. We have some awesome friends and family coming to see us this month, please pray that they have save travels.

4. Please pray the mission teams that are comming out to help us this summer. There are two teams we are working with now, and several others that we may help with at a lesser level. Pray for their effectiveness!

5. Pray for life change. We have loved the ministry so far, and have a great team forming. There are some people in particular that seem ready for some major spiritual direction/life change. Pray that the Lord would give them the courage and strength to take the plunge, and that we would be patient.
